Super-speedy Update.

Tomorrow I find out where our first assignment is.

Finishing up disaster relief training today with a course in "shelter operations" and one in "damage assessment". For every disaster, there's a long list of possible hardships for aid workers. On a list a page long, the only one not relevant to Katrina relief was "extreme cold".

I'll try to post tomorrow, once I know where I'll be next week! Sorry this is short. I'm in a hurry.

I miss everybody, and hope I see you all soon.

Hey, you have a great blog here! I'm definitely going to bookmark you!

I have a pizza bread recipe site/blog. It pretty much covers recipe related stuff.

Come and check it out if you get time :-)

I'm excited to hear where they are sending you. The suspense has built up for so long now. How long is the first assignment? And when do you have free time during the day to talk on the phone?
