I work 4 miles from my house and it took me an HOUR to get home today... That's how bad Texans are at driving in snow. I keep trying to convince my boss that this is "CANCEL EVERYTHING" weather, but she just keeps laughing at me.

On a related note, while sliding my car home at 3 miles per hour, I fully realized how much driving a stick shift sucks. I know I'm supposed to be a high-and-mighty elitist about driving stick:

"I have so much more control over my driving..."
"Automatics were only invented so women could drive during the war..."
...and so on, but that's just what people who can't afford to trade-in their stick shift for an automatic tell themselves so they can sleep at night. The next time I buy a car I plan to fully embrace the one-pedal, comatose driving lifestyle. It's the next step in my progression from stick-shift to chauffeur.
