I don't think I'll ever forget watching the first tower collapse, live on tv. My parents say they can remember exactly where they were when they heard JFK was shot, or when Neil Armstrong walked on the moon.
I've never seen the World Trade Center; never even been to New York... Even so, there was something so shocking about watching that building fall. Another check on the list of things my kids will never see...
Oh yes, sonny... when I was a girl, cars had "tape decks", gas only cost two dollars a gallon, and New York had buildings as high as the eye could see......
