political confidence

I was watching Politically Incorrect tonight. I don't know why. The host really disgusts me. I hear him say the most outrageous things sometimes, particularly about Christianity and scripture, but he delivers his message with such confidence, that even very learned people accept his comments as hard truth. When he does have a worthy opponent, as soon as he gets backed into a conversational corner, so to speak, what do you know... it's time for a commercial break.

I wish that more conservative folk and more christians had that kind of confidence behind their own truths.
