We've got a bazillion volunteers coming in for Thanksgiving. So it's going to be a busy week... or rather a productive week. I love the energy this place has when its full of people.
Reggie and Chet are coming home with me for Christmas. Very cool.
Also - my whole family is coming to New Orleans for Thanksgiving. I'm a little nervous about what my parents are going to think of this place, but otherwise excited to see everyone again.
What else... For those of you who have talked to me in the last 3 months, and have left the conversation concerned about my stress levels... I am feeling 100% better after my trip to Texas. I think my mind just needed a few days to unwind a little and think about some other things.
Thats it for now! Pictures and stories from Thanksgiving are on their way. Also - if anybody "out there" would be interested in helping out a New Orleans resident with food, clothing, rebuilding supplies, etc. over the holiday season - I would be happy to connect you with someone and do any legwork in the city you might need.
